ConTrA, the Contentious Trusts Association, was founded in 2015 by Jessica Henson and Simon Goldring and runs informative and social events, covering the most pertinent and current issues affecting contentious trust practices - particularly from an associate/junior counsel's perspective.
ConTrA's objective is to bring together up-and-coming solicitors and counsel specialising in trust disputes to forge networks, discuss experiences and share knowledge. Simon and Jessica felt it was important to engage associates and junior counsel early on in their career and to evolve with those individuals as they go on to become partners and KCs.
ConTrA has gone from strength to strength with members joining from the majority of top-tier onshore and offshore firms and Chancery chambers. Over 800 practitioners are now part of the ConTrA community.
